about

founded by Jessica Jay, reparation studio offers a modern and creative approach to garment alterations, repairs, bespoke and sampling services on Mount Eden Road, Tāmaki Makaurau.

anchored by a desire for less, reparation studio intends to keep clothing on the body, in the wardrobe and out of landfills.

inspired by the relationship between garment, wearer, and maker, reparation studio celebrates the sentimental, the well-loved and the imperfect in an industry consumed by newness.

“reparation studio embodies my personal values. by opening the doors of my studio to you for consultations, I hope to offer a warm and personalised experience for all. My focus is to ensure that every person who enters reparation studio leaves feeling a little more confident, uplifted and comfortable in their clothing and body.

I believe that garments carry personal narratives. how we choose to wear and care for them is a unique expression of our inner selves. I treat every alteration and repair with this intimate relationship between garment and wearer in mind.”
