a design project for Kate Sylvester, using past season dead-stock to create an entirely new garment. Jess repurposed a dress from Kate Sylvester’s Marisol Summer ‘17 collection (pictured below) to create the Jeffrey Blouse. the original silk dress was entirely unpicked, and the panels, elastic and binding where reimagined through pattern making, cutting and making to create a garment with minimal waste. the Jeffrey Blouse is designed to be reversible, with a voluminous, bias cut through the body and a generous billowy sleeve, finished with a pussy-bow neck tie.
